Flyer Design: Rock'n'Roll and Jump Blues Record Hop with Live Show!!

I designed this flier 14 years ago. It was the 6th anniversary party held with the restaurant & bar "King Kong" located in the shopping center in Kurosaki, Yahata-nishi-ku, Kitakyushu-City, Fukuoka. My friend was managing the restaurant & bar. I was taking charge of the advertising matter as a designer of his store under exclusive contract. I made many parties and calendars which he sponsors. My friend also owner of "King Kong" loves Rock'n'Roll and Jump Blues. I came out and came back to the trip where it wanders about Asia, 14 years ago. Calcutta in India bore a close resemblance to Britain of the 1950s. People's life, an attitude, and the vigor have just experienced the United States of the 1950s. It seemed that time travel was carried out just like a movie "Back to the future." And I imagined "Enchantment Under the Sea Dance" of the movie "Back to the Future", and this flyer designed it. Record hop and a live show are roaring business, and business had not declined yet in the local side after the collapse of the 'bubble' economy. In the floor, the young man danced Strohl (revue dance performed in a line of a female subject), Bop, Twist, and the jive which symbolize the 1950s, and got drunk wholly with the free drink.

DOPE EYE "GARCIA" 5.0oz Crew Rib T-Shirts

I designed this T-shirt for this summer. The name of a product is "Garcia." The origin of a name and a logo is from a fishing tackle maker of Sweden called ABU GARCIA. This logo was used from 1950s for the 1960s by ABU GARCIA. An original logo design is little bit differed. I loving  ABU Ambassadeur  reel and collecting. And he likes the logo in which ABU of this Sweden had put a company called GARCIA on the U.S. market as the agency. GARCIA went bankrupt late in the 1970s and it was purchased by ABU. I think ABU reel is the most wonderful and beautiful in the world. And respect Grateful Dead's vocal Jerry Garcia which is my God. And I fused ABU and Jerry. Usually, resist mark has been arranged at the place put on the lightning bolt. Printed lavender color is from Jerry Garcia's tie-dye T-shirts color. Became navy color if print the green T-shirts. This design for Dead Heads also big bass angler!

Hobby: 1/32 1958 Mazda K360 Auto 3 Wheels

This photo is finished blow the gray surfacer #1200 to all parts of the plastic car model (ARII 1958 Mazda K360).

It separated from the runner with nippers and smoothed the cut end with the file. Having spent time in taking a parting line, since it was 1/32. It failed, although the air grill of left-hand side door back was carved by P cutter and deleted from the reverse side with the router. Therefore, the lower half of the air grill was filled up with putty. Since it is a plastic model since a schoolchild, my technology is not progressing. The last Suzuki fronte became such a shameful result that it cannot up in a blog. I am practicing by this model with bad small accuracy. It is the 3rd set of tries in this time.

This is old movie I founded. I like old style bass fishing and culture. I have the brand of a handmade lure named INVADER LURES. I like American style from the chiefly 1950's to the 1980's. I am using Gary Yamamoto's lures is glub or cuttail. The reel uses the spin Cast reel of Daiwa. The rod uses cheap carbon remodels for the Champion Featherweight handle.
