Flyer Design: Minami Masato Live at Cotton Dancer

This is my latest flyer design work for the Bar Cotton Dancer. I love the silk screen poster of a psychedelic movement which was in fashion late in the 60s. And I also like the propaganda poster of a communist country. By using the ink of the fluorescent color which employed the characteristic of the silk screen print efficiently, the psychedelic poster has heightened the eye catch effect. A psychedelic poster carries out the visualization of the hallucination by LSD, takes LSD, and can appreciate an art like a kaleidoscope like the mandala. The vision effect by LSD will not be acquired so much, since I created this flyer without taking LSD. Since I did not have the cost which makes a silk screen, I decided to utilize Risograph. Risograph is the printing machine which a Riso company made in Japan. It can print in a high speed, budget prices, and the special color like a laser beam printer. Risograph can use fluorescence pink and a fluorescence orange. Riding of ink is bad like Toppan Printing, and a photograph has the noise blurred like a newspaper. Since I had arranged the photograph of a deep color at the back, the color on the back was transparent and the surface logo portion failed in me. Paper is using the bad thin paper of quality like recycled paper, and became the result which has the flavor of tactile feeling coarsely in the bottom. Since it brews the feeling which is completely different from the printed matter of offset printing in a general coated paper in the present age, it becomes a good eye catch.

About Minami Masato
Masato Minami is an artist representing Japan of Folk-Rock. He reached 70 years old in born one in 1944. He is the keyman who visited America before the psychedelic movement and inherited the hippie culture to Japan. He is a singer whom the scenery that perform many live in Japan or Thailand and children are playing out in the fields under the tree suits very well. I am looking at his live from ten years or more before. "Niji no Misaki Matsuri" performed in Aso looked at his live first. I have appreciated his live at the festival since then every year, and was allowed to soften a feeling very much.

ASTRO:LOUNGE's Wooden Sign at Pasar Moon Festival

This is the signboard of ASTROLOUNGE made with the board of driftwood. This time, we opened a shop to the festival of an institution called PASAR MOON of Shimane Prefecture. I applied the paint to the board which became round with a white angle which flowed and reached. Since goods were the wife's handmade garments and miscellaneous goods, this signboard design was set to simple and natural SHABBY. The color of a lusterless background is very important. When there was much driftwood more, the signboard which becomes independent was able to be made. But, since it was lacking, it was hung by hemp cord on the tarp pole. It is written to the board of the bottom connected in Hemp cord as ASTROLOUNGE in katakana.

DOPE EYE "Drop Acid not Bombs!!"

The Vietnam War age when love and peace were cried for, and the young man that does not want to be conscripted ran away from home, and became a hippie. However, it does not escape fighting. In order to avoid the battle with Chinese people, Tibetans committed suicide by fire. Their message made Sekai's people think by performance called suicide by fire. China will be exposed to blame from people in the world. Probably, it will be easier than the direction to fight avoids a battle. The message which put anger to such the world is offered. It is never playing a trick.

Recently, the town rubble collapsed came to our town by earthquake and tsunami. It is because our mayor accepted it. Citizens are worried that radioactivity may have adhered to rubble. My friend caused the demonstration in order to prevent it. It was going to stand in front of the track loading with rubble, and was going to prevent carrying in. However, it was arrested by two persons. They were agitated by Facebook and the twitter. The agitator of the demonstration is speaking ill of the bad influence of rubble by the own blog. A friend does not know that a certain profits are concerned with the agitator of a demonstration. They were trifled with and used. If you are out of Japan, all Japan will consider being polluted with radioactivity by it. I will think that north will be polluted if you are in the south in Japan similarly. Although the atomic bomb dropped to Hiroshima destroyed Hiroshima completely, it was one city level. Even as for the atomic bomb developed in order to kill people, there was only only one  influence. This time, the nuclear power plant completely destroyed from tsunami flowed out few radioactivity. Mass media was cried for all over the world with the big speaker. Becoming nervous can be understood. however, it is the same as the housewife who thinks that the news of TV is seen, it resembles the whole neighborhood, and the murderous fiend lurks. It is dangerous to believe the information which flows from mass media, and the information which has fallen on the Internet of you as it is.
