"AKIRA" The Poptoonstudio Recommended Comics

Katsuhiro Otomo is cartoonist of the science fiction with delicate picture power that represents Japan with which touch and the throb feeling overflow. In his most important work "AKIRA", Tokyo of the future is a stage. Volume 1 of "AKIRA" begins to draw in 1982, and has finished the final story in 1990. Refer to Wikipedia for the story. "AKIRA" is one of the comics that received a big influence when I am a high school student. Katsuhiro Otomo has the technique for quickly drawing person's movement and style. And, the building begins to brew the impression that the concrete that cracks in the uncleanliness is inorganic and cold. He is skillful also in the mechanic design. The motor cycle when hero "Kaneda" gets on is famous, and one of the one wanting it at now and me. The cartoon that depicts the resistance spirit in contradiction to a leftist ideology is a lot of tendencies in the cartoonist written at the age such as Katsuhiro Otomo, Osamu Tezuka, and Fujio Fujiko that are.

DOPE EYE "Poppy and Black Frame"

The T-shirt design of this DOPE EYE is a picture frame. It is a French design to make the picture frame of the Gothic style the main with a gorgeous black decoration with the impact. The respect did Vivienne Westwood and FOB CORP to this work. The character was made the logo of hand-written lettering of the wind by using the illustration of opium poppy for the picture in the 1900's. Mustard is a plant including the alkaloid that refines the heroin and morphine from opium. The effect is done by forcing by one watch in the plant of the anesthetizing system. And, the central nerve is paralyzed. If using it a body psychological dependence keeps being strong, and it, opium becomes the disabled.
