Photo: Yuda-Onsen Down Town Yamaguchi
We visited Yuda-Onsen of the Yamaguchi prefecture. Yuda-Onsen is a typical town of the Yamaguchi prefecture. The traditional hotel and souvenir shop which stand in a row in a street were impressive. The upper photograph is a lid of the manhole of the road in front of the no-frills hotel at which we stayed. Such a manhole art is often seen at the tourist resort in Japan. This seems to be the picture of river going down.
We checked in at a reasonable no-frills hotel called reserved SUPER HOTEL. It seems that SUPER HOTEL excludes various futility and is holding down the price. It is the no-frills hotel which it is the most powerful and is growing rapidly in Japan now. The traditional hotels in Yuda-Onsen which is a tourist resort accommodation fee needs 20,000 yen to 40,000 yen per one person. However, the price of this SUPER HOTEL was 6980 yen in the parlor with a good window of a double bed and a scene. Probably, the price is 4980 yen in case of the standard room of a single. The breakfast of a buffet is attached to this charge. If you visit Japan, I will recommend this SUPER HOTEL.

This is a complete view of the town photoed from our Room 505.
A traditional hotel called MATSUDAYA stands in front of our hotel. If you are generous pocketbook, you will recommend this hotel. To accommodation charges, it is traditional and the emotive supper and breakfast of a one day book dish are contained. Accommodation charges are one persons of about 15,000 yen.
Although MATSUDAYA has a website, there is no English.
Our purpose visited to Yuda-Onsen was for seeing the live performance on which a friend appears. We checked the place of the live house, after checking in at the hotel. Walked from our hotel and the live house was the distance for about 2 minutes.
The live performance is performed in a small live house called Organ's Melody.
SUPER HOTEL of Yuda-Onsen can go into a public bathroom called adjoining KAMENOYU for 200 yen.
We discovered the manhole art of the picture of a fox on this road.
We found the local bicycle shop close to our hotel. There having many road bike.
This is retro Japanese Katakana sign. Written NOGAMI. This letter like a my favorite English font. Maybe 1970's made.
This sign board also written by Japanese Katakana. I think this sign board made in 1990's.
This Japanese traditional souvenir shop having trademark called Kamon. Kamon is Japanese crest having each family line. This entrance art style from Wabi-Sabi art.
This pine is a plant of the typical high-class image of Japan. It is finely pruned by the gardener. It is a brilliant art representing Japan.
