"National RANDIONE" The Old Bike Restoration 2

Then, I am continuing restoration of National Randione. The parts of National Randione polished by the compound. THe brake levers, rear derailleur, front derailleur, stem, Side pull brakes. All components are made in Japan.

REAR DERAILLEUR: SUNTOUR TRIMEC 6 SPEED

Although there was a pulley which cannot be decomposed, it decomposed mostly. And parts were soaked in kerosene. If grease garbage adhered and became hard is soaked in kerosene and rubbed against a brush, dirt will come off finely. A mother agent is not eroded.

FRONT DERAILLEUR: SUNTOUR 2 SPEED

SUNTOUR is in the manufacturing company representing Japan of bicycle parts. It is the sales brand by Maeda Iron Works Company manufacturing. It is famous as a component maker on a par with Shimano or Campagnolo those days.

FRONT/REAR BRAKE: DIA COMPE Side pull Calliper

DIA COMPE is YOSHIGAI Machine and Metal company's brand.

DRIVETRAIN SYSTEMS: SUNTOUR Double Lever fit to down tube by one screw

A stem is not understood what maker it is. It is written as JAPAN. And since it is the form to insert, a handle can be attached comfortably. It is kind.

L/R BRAKE HANDLE: DIA-COMPE JUnior size

This brake handle is very few short grip and smaller handle.

I dropped the rust of the frame to the sandpaper of No. 600 over many hours.
I have not stripped all paint.

I consulted with the wife and purchased 0.3 mm of red lame. In order to sprinkle red lame on this metal red. But, I failed in the stage of glazing clear spraying. Since the clearance was lacquer, the enamel coating of metal red was eroded. It melted, so that lame could have flow omission and seen undercoat. I rubbed the surface against the sandpaper. However, lame became silver and the surface did not become smooth. I decided to use a paint remover. Having spent in stripping all the paint for many days, although the paint remover was powerful. At last, stripping all the paint was finished and the surface was smoothed recently. However, the front fork has not been finished yet.
