Topic: TATAMI The Japanese Relaxation Flooring

I introduce Japanese traditional flooring "TATAMI". Recently, almost Japanese don't use it for new house. We don't like this tradition style. Because it have many demerit. The mites living inside the new TATAMI. Japan have many rain become high humidity. That's why mites and termites born prenty. And TATAMI needs change sometimes because it's became damage. It's made by 100% natural rice strow and rush. But we don't change it because high costly for normal society. I recommend TATAMI If you living dry area. The TATAMI merit is just better soft-cushion. You can sleep well thin mattress. Recently almost Japanese using bed but we also slept on the TATAMI floor. It have very nice scent. 

Travel Tech: Method of Low Cost Travel in Japan

I introduce travel method for the most cheap cost in Japan around if you like slow cheap trip.

Over the sea

First you have to over the sea by ship or airplane.  Because Japan is island.

I have two plan of reach to Japan.

1. Use MU(China Eastern Airline)

China eastern airline have most reasonable price from around Shanghai to Japan now. You can check the price and info at direct MU website. 

For example, Delhi, India to Fukuoka, Japan aprox. USD 550 round trip including any charge. But fix only. You can not change arrival and departure date.

2. Use ferry from China to Japan

 If you can come to Shanghai or Qingdao by hitchhike or bicycle, better to use China to Japan ferry. From Shanghai to Osaka (Su Zhou Hao) and from Qingdao to Shimonoseki (Orient Ferry) is better. 

Orient ferry needs one way aprox USD 176 cheaper class recently.

Transport

Japan has turned to the bicycle trip very much. All roads are paved smoothly. The large sidewalk is improved in the trunk road. The bikeway is made by the bicycle boom these days. Since Japan is large, the ups and downs of inland are intense. However, a great thing does not have the highest altitude at 3700 meters. I want you to enjoy the beautiful Japanese mountains who got wet. A local side of Japan is dotted with many campsites. It is better to bring a lightweight tent by all means, if you do a cheaper trip in Japan. If you do not have a bicycle, I will recommend hitchhike. Japan is easiest country for hitchhike. I was always doing hitchhike in the service area(parking area) of the highway. The hitchhike in a local road will get used on good terms with Japanese people. The hitchhike in Japan is lawful.

Flyer Design: "RIKI Live in Bar Cotton Dancer" by Fluorescent Color on Natural Paper

I draw acoustic live flyer for my friend's bar. This flyer is A6 size, fluorescence orange and blue printed to the natural paper. Fluorescence color will glow under the UV light, and get big impact to the people. It's like a silk screen printing. I think this print method by risograph. It's very reasonable price of print charge. And print to like a recycle paper. This flyer

RIKI sing folk music with he performance by the acoustic guitar. He organized big rock festival at Kumamoto. I choose sunshine orange and sky blue at the sunset image. The circles by my freehand.

Pasar Moon Festival

We visited open air festival of the PASAR MOON Guest House in Misumi Beach, Hamada City, Shimane, Japan. This festival was organized by my friend Marron. It was so good music live performance, visual decorating works, location and situation. We stayed 3 days but festival had 1 week. We carried tarp, tent, table, chair, bike and driftwood on the small car and 3.5 hour drive from Kitakyushu. It was became down the temp 22 degrees into Chugoku mountain path the Yamaguchi City because midnight. We arrived at Misumi area before sunrise. We got good sea view camping area outside of the festival entrance. I'm so tired because tent and tarp building does not sleep. Already few stuff living here with building party. Few wild people were get up and walk around  the sea. We could not sleep because strong sunshine also temp going up. I got into the sea early morning. The water is very clear but little bit big wave. There have 200 yen per 2 min hot water shower. 

Repair Paint the Daiwa Peanut II 1

This is one of my favorite lure. The name of Peanut II from Daiwa Japan fishing company. This Peanut series are so good crank bait also popular famous lure in Japan. This is shallow runner but series have deep diver and bigger and smaller size. It's so have many color. I have lots this Peanut because many fished by this crank bait for years. If you find somewhere then I recommend purchase this one.

The rainy season were finished and hot summer is coming in Japan. Kyushu area having almost 33 degrees temp. We went beautiful beach resort close to Tsunoshima, Yamaguch. The name is Akata beach. It's very close to water from your car parking. You have not carry so heavy family camp goods.

Plenty tuna, onion , mustard and mayonnaise are mixed. Melt cheese and salad sands an English bread. Hard potato chips were served. It's very good taste. I like it.

DIY: Front Carrier for Touring Bike

I began to make the front carrier for the touring bike. I choose 6 mm diameter stainless steel pipe material of JPY 390 at DIY store. The first step is processing a pipe bends for beautifully. I referred to a book and Web, and I bent little by little, roasting a pipe with a gas burner.

I took this photo for my friend's diner menu. I making restaurant menu work by Photoshop and Illustrator. I have to take meals and beverage picture first. This Cheese Dog served French fries so much YAMMY!! 

I think some cheese mix and bake into the pan. Toast special bread and sausage. 

I used sun light because I don't have flash light. It was taken by PENTAX k-r. 

"National RANDIONE" The Old Bike Restoration 4

I assembled National Randione for my wife temporarily because I got almost parts. I couldn't perfect polished all parts but you can see clean because photograph. Still not fix the bar tape. Cotton tape and vanish are better to much this touring bike. 

Small But Real

Just I playing by Google earth. This photo is taken at anywhere airport in Unites States. You can see latitude and longitude input to google earth. Altitude is 232m. It became so nice dirty like a Millennium Falcon. 

This is 678m altitude same place to upper photo. There have three air parking. 

This is became so tired to walk it gate to  immigration distance if there having the moving road. I have to come this airport before 3 hours departure. 

I remember the air travel. But I don't recommend. Because air travel have only one advantage. It's quickly. I don't have money but I have plenty money. If I go somewhere then I will use bicycle. Because air travel needs lots of money, troublesome immigration and custom check, high price restaurant, small economy seats, dangerous airplane have heavy body, funny moral Chinese, fuck air pockets, long distance to the downtown...

Fishing Report: Tonogawa Water Reservoir

I arrived in Tonogawa reservoir at 3PM. Tonogawa reservoir is exists in Kanda, Miyakogun, Fukuoka, Japan also close to Kitakyushu airport. Japanese Buddhist temple "So-enji" exists over the dam side in this Tonogawa reservoir. So-enji have 277cm Buddha statue made from Heian period about 1200years before. That Buddha statue is भैषज्यगुरु Bhaisajyaguru. 

Album Cover Design: Let the Guitar Speak by electro 53

I designed this album cover artwork this month. An album cover is the front of the packaging of a commercially released audio recording product, or album. This artwork made with my client also this album artist. My client given this guitar and amplifier photograph. I made front jacket including inside 2 pages and backside total 4 pages, rear jacket with backside (inside CD tray), side cap, and disc label. I made album title logo, artist logo, and record level logo. I'm very glad my client favorites this design. This pic is not real CD photo. I made crop and paste on blank CD image for finishing product image. I was cut the front jacket image pic with side cap same as rear jacket. It is not so difficulty make myself. I will introduce next time.

electro 53

Electro 53 is instrumental music unit by Takashi Gomi and Syuhei Onga. T-BOLAN's guitarist Takashi Gomi perform the electric guitar like a singing. He is my best client. Syuhei Onga playing base and sound programming. Their sound is the electronica rock. The electric guitar and the base added on the programming track.

HABIT LUNCH A5 Flyer Design & Printing Keep on an American

I made lunch flyer of HABIT STORE an American restaurant. Size is A5 (148mm x 210mm). Before, I introduced this diner serving large burger. This diner's owner beginning lunch time this time. If you living close to Kokura, Kitakyushu-City, I recommend this restaurant. You can drink beer in daytime. You will satisfaction this burger volume in other American restaurant. Please take care every Tuesday is closed. Lunch time is 12PM to 3PM. HABIT STORE have not rest time continue diner time. HABIT STORE close 1AM. So you can drink to late time. You can choice four burgers including salad and fried potato with drink or weekly one plate including weekly meal, mashed potato, salad and rice with drink. price is 950 yen. You can choice 12 drinks. Owner and stuff can speak English little bit. Sometimes I saw few foreigner coming this diner. The left side ad written Japanese lower means "Not only big". The right ad written all Japanese. Because this flyer for Japanese. Owner will this flyer posting to around the home by himself. You can check the location about HABIT STORE place.

Today's Photo: The Traditional Japanese Simply Wooden House

We were visited traditional Japanese old simply house called from our friend. This place name is Moji word in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka prefecture. It's close to Shimonoseki. The most close place in Kyushu island to main island of Japan. This place have still many simplicity old wooden house. We like also loving these shabby chic cottage and old downtown. Because simply life having shanti. I introduce this shanti place right now!!

The YAMANI SOY SAUCE
This hand painted sign is famous and popular soy sauce brand in Kitakyushu City. The name is YAMANI. It's more sweet than Tokyo soy sauce. My friend told me "You know son of this YAMANI soy sauce company". We were surprised it. We will become good customer of this YAMANI soy sauce. Also I like this signs graphic!! This is very old typography in Japan. This bold type made by EDO period about 300years before. This type looks like a Tachibana-Ryu in the EDOMOJI inspired from Kantei-Ryu. But Tachibana-Ryu don't have like this punk edge. This type is maybe originally inspired from EDOMOJI. Also I like this pink and red coloring. This YAMANI company born in 1915. I think nobody never seen like this coloring in this TAISHO period. This door is warehouse of YAMANI company factory. Produce factory were place in backside of this warehouse. You can see this YAMANI soy sauce in any market or store in Kitakyushu City and around City.

The Electronica Sound Creating by Dyumbo Hashweed

I creating the electronic music using the Fruity Loops 3.4. I can not so well use this software. It's so difficult synthesize melody programming. My music become the progressive house or progressive trance or tech trance.

Movie Review: Funny Games U.S.

Not funny, not so good feel after seen this movie. But I don't hate this FUNNY GAMES. I remembered Stanley Kubrick's "A Clockwork Orange" and "The Shining". This movie have not violence and rape scene. But it having so much scare. This FUNNY GAMES have only two sound track on opening and ending scene. This two sound performed by John Zorn. "Born head" and "Hellraiser" are Grind Core or Thrash Metal. I like skate boarding also like hardcore music and culture. If you like MTV's JACKASS, Stanley Kubrick's movie, Living dead movies, then I recommend this movie.

The Illustrated Funny Monster

I draw funny monster by Art Studio Lite for iPhone. This monster imaged from our lovely Scottish fold. The name is Master OMARI. He is Kung-Fu master of T'ai chi ch'uan also known as or "Taichi", and "Taijiquan". Taichi is the China tradition martial art born from Shaolin Temple. These days, the old person is performing form of taichi as gymnastics in the morning park. Because, it is believed that taichi is effective against health and a long life. Taichi is returned to an enemy as it is using the offensive strength from an enemy. It is Ying-Yang essence. Master OMARI lived in China Henan Province Shaolin Temple. He learned Zen, Shaolin Kung-fu, and Taichi from Dharma. Master OMARI is valid in 3000 or more. He mastered any martial art from lots of masters. He can jump 10 min in the sky. He was kept by Shih-huang-ti a long time ago. Master OMARI belonged to the thought group of Mozi, before being kept by Shih-huang-ti.
